What to Expect When You Train with The Lisbon Trainer.

I want you to feel excited and confident about starting personal training, so here’s exactly what working together will look like:

  • We start with a simple questionnaire where you’ll share details about your current fitness level, lifestyle, and ideal training schedule. This helps me understand where you’re at and what works best for you.

  • We’ll meet to discuss your goals, challenges, and what’s held you back before. You’ll also get a chance to check out the equipment I use and feel confident I’m the right trainer for you. I’ll go over booking details so everything is clear.

  • Your first session will assess strength, fitness, and flexibility—no stress, just a way to track progress and get’s repeated every few weeks. Clients love these check-ins because they highlight how far you’ve come.

  • I’ll create a structured program tailored to you, with the option of a shared accountability sheet between us, to help track habits like steps, hydration, and stretching—only if this approach works for you!

  • We meet for progressive, results-driven sessions, incorporating TRX, strength, and fitness training. Every few weeks, your plan evolves as you get stronger, fitter, or prep for something specific—like a ski trip!

TRX is a popular bodyweight suspension training system, designed to build strength, stability and endurance. Using adjustable straps, it challenges core control, balance, and muscular engagement in every movement. Exercises can be modified to suit all levels, making it a versatile and effective training method. I did my education directly with TRX and am a proud representative of the brand.

  • with NATIVE RUN CLUB

    Ever wanted to take your running off-road, get out of the city, in to nature but didn’t know where to start? This one’s for you.

    Join us Saturday 5th April for a 5km trail loop through Monsanto with Native Run Club—aka Lisbon’s dirt surfers, Jordan and Yuri. Feeling good? You have the option to contunue to 10km.

    No fancy trail shoes needed—your usual runners will do just fine. We’ll meet at 8am (location sent on sign-up), warm up, and get the lowdown from the guys before hitting the trails.

    This one’s for all levels—whether you’re new to trails or want a group to go with.

  • Booty Call Club and The Lisbon Trainer are joining forces for a special edition of Booty Bounce—a class concept I love!

    Expect a 50-minute mini trampoline-based workout that combines music-driven cardio with bands and light weights for sculpting. It’s fun, effective, and open to all levels.
